5th Grade Wax Museum

This year's 5th grade Wax Museum has finally come and gone, but the experiences gained from this project will never leave you. In this post, discuss the challenges you faced while going through the Wax Museum process.

-What were the greatest challenges you faced?
-What did you do well during the process?
-What could you have done better?
-If you had to do it all over again, what would you do differently next time?
-What advice would you give next year's 5th graders before they take on the Wax Museum challenge?

  1. The greatest challenge I faced in the 21st annual Wax Museum was the writing. You had to revise multiple times with multiple errors. It just took so much time to perfection. I think I succeeded in Lucid Press (Publishing) the most because I've had the most experience with that. I probably could've done better with my props, they were a bit modern and I didn't make too many. If I had to do the process all over again, I would change my costume. My bald cap looked so inaccurate and my suit was a bit like a horseback rider costume. I would say to future fifth graders to never finish first! You will be sent back! There is probably 2 things that could be changed, edited or deleted!

    1. I agree because I saw other people finish and then be sent back

  2. The greatest challenge I faced during the Wax Museum, is holding my pose still for 45 minutes. After a while I started to get cramps, and this was only 10 minutes in!
I feel like I did pretty well on the report. It was hard to get all the exact facts and fit it on two pages! Although I was good at the report, I felt that I could do better at listing all the facts in a more proper way. If I could do this over again I definitely would've got the setup done earlier. All I would really say to the future 5th graders, is to get the writing done A.S.A.P. and get it done with your best work. This is because if you don't you will have to do it all over again!

  3. I'll admit, My greatest challange was Alaia. I didn't do too well on the 2nd session, my sister had such a hard time leaving my desk. She was making faces, trying to get me to move... I had such a hard time staying still! If I could do it over I would stay alot stiller. (Is "stiller" a word?)

  4. The biggest chalange i have faced was standing still for 45 minutes long.I made my report good and i had a lot of problems with luicedpress but I did it.I could of stood still better and not move that much becaues i moved alot I mean lot.I would not move as much as i did. I would no talk as much as i did last time.Do not move as much and all ways go to the bathroom befor you do the the wax muesam.

  5. One big challenge that I faced during the wax museum is when we were writing our reports, I was really sick so I was 3 weeks behind everyone but after 2 days I was caught up with everyone. I think that I did typing the best because I'm a fast typer and I was ahead of everyone in typing. I think that I could've done better poseing because I was moving a little bit. If I could redo the wax museum I would change my artwork from a picture of a basketball hoop to a basketball because the basketball hoop was really challengeing to draw. Advice that I would give to future 5th graders is to color orgizine theirs notes. Overall, I enjoyed the wax museum!๐Ÿ‘

  6. My greateast challenge that I faced was when I was getting my costum ready because I could not find a costum for me but we found one in time. I did well with writing because I had all the information I needed. I could have done better on my on my costum because I did not have all the stuff I needed. I would have done my writing because I felt like it was missing something. Always read your book carefully.

  7. One big challege I faced in 5th grade was the Wax Museum and in the Wax Museum was writting, typing, standing still, and props my favorite one was the typing part because then you get to look up things about your charator and my least favorite is typing on lucid press it was like having a heart attack on my computer. OH! My charator was Harry Houdini "The Daring Escape Artiest" I painted Harry Houdini in handcuffs but the hardest thing was standing still for 45 minutes because people that I know were smiling at me and I starting laughing so hard that people starting staring at me๐Ÿ˜‚. And 4th graders it's hard to do the Wax Museum.๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿค”

  8. A challenge that I faced that changed my experience was my back would always give way and it wuold feel bad for the whole time. But when the people weren't near where I was I knew it was time to strech my back and move to a better position.

  9. My greatest challenges I faced was lucid press because I had to write a lot of things and once when I didn't save and I lost a lot of things! The thing I did well during the process was when I drew the picture of Davy Crockett. I could have done lucid press better then I did. If I had to do it all over again I would lucid press differently next time because that was the most work out of everything in the Wax Museum. The advice I would give next years 5th grader is try your best even if it is really hard and also have fun!

  10. The greatest challenges I faced during the wax museum were staying still and not talking. What I did during the process was stayed still and not talked and when someone taked to me tried not talked back. What I would've done better was being more still, trying not to talk but I whispered back and then I said to myself I have to stop talking so I did. What I would do differently if i had to do the wax museum all over again would be to stay still and not move AT ALL dont switch poses that much and not talk at all. I would give the next wax museum artists advice to, NOT talk AT ALL, stay still and much as you can, and do not switch poses every 10 seconds.

  11. The Wax Museum took me on a roller coaster of ups and downs, with challenging and easy tasks that I had to do to get ready for the big day. The greatest challenges I faced in my preparation was lucidpress and the artwork. Every time I tried to make a text change to my lucidpress, I would have to take away from my big strip down the side, then I had barely any room for pictures! I wanted my size to be 13pt, but it went down to 11pt! I chose to draw and paint the presidential seal, which is very detailed and had so many different colors, so I used up a lot of paintbrushes. Sometimes I couldn't get a tiny amount of paint out, a big blob of paint came out of the bottle, when I only need only 1/100 of that amount, and the paint becomes a total waste! The art was a very hard process, but a very fun process too! Taking notes was probably the easiest part of the entire process for me. All I had to do was read a book, and write down important parts mentioned in the book and quotes that were said. I could've done my lucidpress better by choosing a different theme. I wanted to keep my big red stripe on both sides, because that stripe came with the theme, and it looked very cool with the triangle in the middle of it. I don't want to do anything different next time if I had to do it over. A tip for next year's 5th graders would be to do a sitting pose, so your legs aren't tired from standing.

    1. Thats so true Chad, i picked a standing pose for each session and it REALLY HURT AFTER

    2. I agree chad I had a lot of writing too so I had to take away a lot of pictures. Lucid press is a little difficult to work with but we got through it.

  12. You know, I was forgetting all the work that was put into preparing. The whole thing wasn,t just holding still, you still have to write a report! What was the purpose of the whole expirience, learnining to hold still?
I had a hard time with lucid press... my entire report deleted off of Lucid press just days before wax museum! I heard that happened to other kids too, luckily I was able to get the report back, Although I had to re-design everything๐Ÿ˜Ÿ

  13. Some of the great challenges I faced was staying in a position for a long time, working on the early life of my character and the props were a last minute thing. What I did well during the prosess was getting my costume to work and putting things on lucidpress. I could have put my cotume together much better, but the problem was that I couldn't find overalls my size! If I did the Wax Museum all over again I would have put together my costume and my props together more earlyer. I would say to a future 5th grade to make sure you get everything done and dont get distracted!!!!!๐Ÿ˜œ

  14. My greadest challenge in the Wax Museum was lucidpress. That was my greadest challenge because it was hard to understand, I needed some help on it, but I did it with some help. I think I did pretty well on my document in lucidpress. I think I did it well was because I worked really hard on it till last minute. I think I could have written some things in a more discreptive manner, I kind of just wrote about it without very many discribing words. I would do my set up a little differently if I ever had a chance. I would because I didn't have much there that I wanted but It was all Icould think of. I would say that you should start early and bring all your Wax Museum books home so you have extra time to read and time for more information. You should get all of your work done early, because lucidpress isn't that coopertive, it deleted itself a bunch of times. It happend to alot of people in our class. So do your fast, But do all of your best work!

  15. I thought the Wax Museum was challenging because we had to do so much work like we had to write on lucid press print in black and white, then print in color on lucid press. Then we had to make are costum

  16. the greatest challenge I faced was standing still for 45 minutes. What I did well was not trying to talk. If i had to do it all over again I would bring a sweater๐Ÿ˜Š .

  17. tThe greatest challenge I faced was the picture and lucidpress. What i did the beast is getting my props and costume. What I could have done better is reading and writing notes. What I would have done better is to wright better on lucidpress. The advice i would give is to net be the first one done.๐Ÿ˜€

  18. The Wax Museum was awesome! It was really fun and exciting. The greatest challenge I faced was staying still for 45 minutes. My whole body was numb. mostly my feet. I really think that my lucid press layout was really well. I could have done better at looking more like Bethany Hamilton. If I had to do it all again I would have done my outfit differently. The advice I would give the next years 5th graders would be to prepare everything a week before. And to have fun! I really enjoyed this years Wax Museum!

  19. The wax museum was a challenge. My challenge was whe we had to think of facts about our wax person. I think I could of do a lot of things better but I think I could of put a lot more facts about my person. I would adivce that to put as much of fact about your wax person. I think I did the spelling and grammer well on the procces. I have lots of fun during this 2017 wax musuem it was the best

  20. The greatest challenges I faced in the wax musuem would proboly have to be all of the writing because we had to write and read SO MUCH. What I think I did well in the process of the wax musuem was trying not to talk. In the wax musuem I fainted. I think what I could of done better would be trying not to faint next time. If I could give any advise to the 4th graders, I would proboly say just to take their time and focuse because then they will get more work done and they will have better writing for the wax muesuem.

  21. The hardest part of the Wax Museum was to be quiet when it was time to. Also, I only had one pose at the start so I basically sat there, thinking of my next pose. The easiest part was working on LucidPress. All I really had to do was Copy and Paste my work on Google Documents onto it. If I had to do it again, I would not of spent 30 minutes on getting inch-perfect hair. It was all a waste at the end because of the snow. 4th graders(if they are even listening), my advice would to just try year best and don't be upset if it does not all go according to plan.

    ReplyDelete
  22. My hardest challenge that I faced was standing still for 40 min. I did really good on lucid press If I could do one thing over again it would be changing my pose more. If I was giving advice to next years fifth graders I would say don't panic because the truth is the whole wax mueseum is really easy.

  23. My greatest challenge I have faced was staying, when people come they like smile and make funny faces and di not get disracted wel just a little but I did like the Wax Museum. In session 3 I really enjoyed it because it was the last session of staying still. When it was over people came over and started taking photos because it was our last year so we had to remember the wax museum. I would have liked to make a pose where I was on the floor tieing my ribbons. For the kids that are coming in fourth grade I would tell you guys to do your best and dont be nervous because it's the best experience i had at the 21 Annual Wax Museum๐Ÿ†

  24. I had some downs ands ups in the wax museum. One of the ups was finally finishing and just getting all my props ready. One of the downs was forgetting to save in lucid press. It was always a risk when I got off. It was really hard to stay in the same pose for 45 minutes. I tried my hardest and never gave up, some advice I would give to the forth graders is to STRECH before the actual day. I had to change pose about twice for one session. But i still really enjoyed the whole time I had to work to this point. It was all worth it.๐Ÿ˜€

  25. The greatest challenge for me was setting up for the wax museum, like making the picture that represents your person. I think I did pretty good on lucid press. It was hard to make so many notes on my person. I could have stayed more stay when we did the wax museum. If I had to start all over again then I would change my painting that represents my person. I would tell the new 5th graders to try you best and you don't have to be worried.

  26. One of the hartest things that i had to do was the lucid prees format. I had an easy time with the esay. I could of had better props for my setup. I wouldn't do anything different exept more props. I would sugest to a new 5th grader to choose someone that everybody nows, have a good coustume and a good esay.

  27. I had many challenges during the Wax Museum, but the greatest one was lucidpress. I had to keep on re-printing the essay, and once I had to do it over. But I thought that I wrote the rough drafts really well. It was easy for me to write the rough drafts for the essay really quickly. I liked writing the rough draft too. It was fun going on the computer and learning tons of stuff about your character. I think I could have done the lucidpress better. I didn't get a picture of my character (Milton Bradley) in the lucidpress essay. Nobody could've seen what my character looked like, unless they looked it up. Next time I would try to find a picture of my character to put on the front page of my essay, so that when people walked by, they would know what Milton Bradley looked like. I think that it would have been hard just to base what Milton Bradley looked like just by looking at my costume. I would tell next year's 5th graders to try to do their best on the lucidpress, do their best on how their costume looks, and to stay as still as possible. But all in all, the Wax Museum was a great experience. I would rate it 9.5/10!๐Ÿ‘

  28. My greatest challange in the Wax Museum was lucidpress and all of the writing. It was hard to not move for 40 minutes ! It wasn't that hard staying still, but it was hard when people were staring at people. I thought it was going to be much easier setting up all of the props and costumes but it was preety diffucult. The advice I would give t o the fifth graders, is to stay focused and not talk. I could of brung my metal and trophies to the wax museum but I didn't have a enough time to set up , and i could of brung my Yao Ming jersey but It didn't come in a enough time. I think 5S did a wonderful job on the Wax Museum ๐Ÿ˜‡

  29. The greatest challenges I'v faced during the wax museum was standing still for 40 min. The best thing that i did in the wax museum was writing the biogrofy. I could have done better with the costum and the props. If i had to do something differently i would have not moved as much as i did. i would tell the next years 5th graders to go to the bathroom before they go to the gym. i would also tell them to bring water with them because it gets hot.

  30. my greadest challenge was staying still in the wax museum beacuse people where trying to make me move and get out of my pose it was diffucult to stay still for 40 minuties a nother challenge in the wax museum was riting about my character beacus i had to edit my words alo the luciedpress wus hard beacus the edit it mutyple times i think 5s did great

  31. The greatest challenge I faced was fitting it on lucidpress because I wrote three pages and had to reformat my pages. What I did well during the process was looking like Steven Spielberg because he looks casual while directing. What I would like to do differently is that I would like to give more details and descriptions of his work. If I had to do it over again I would like to choose a different layout for my essay and stay stiller. The only advice I want to give the new fifth graders is, choose someone you are interested in, choose props that describe your character and most importantly stay still.

  32. When i was taking place in the wax museum the greatest acoplesment was staying stil and not moving. What I thogt i did well was typing an hoel sa twice. What i could of done better was hoeld my poese longer. If i had to do it all over again I wouled strech a lot be for i take my three poese. The avice i would give the next 5th grade clases wouled be never give up. and strech before you take youre poeses.

  34. I think the greatest challenge that I faced was when I had to write on lucid press, and all of the resurch that I had to do about me character. Something that I could have done better is not to laugh if somebody that I know walks by me. If I had to do it all over again I would try not to laugh. Some advice I would give is focus on something in the gym to look at so your eyes wont be looking all over the place. The thing I did well is that I tried my best and did well.

  35. The greatest challange I have faced would be the fact how long it took to set up, do the tiping, and much more. In my opinion, I think I did a vary good job on my document on LuicidPress. It took up most of the time in ELA class, but it was fun. There isn't much things I could do better, on the top of my head, but I'm positive it will come to me. To tell the truth, I think i would do better on my costume, it may sound weird but it is true...๐Ÿ˜… I would tell them to never give up! My older sister (6th grade)told me the same. Have a nice day!!

  36. The greatest challenge I faced was staying still during the wax museum and not laughing or talking and it was really hard with who I was sitting next (won't say names). I did the best with writing the essay and found if you had good notes than writing wasn't hard at all! I did ask a few people passing by how much time was left, which I shouldn't have done. If I had to do it over again then I would have picked poses that were more comfortable to hold. I recommend 4th graders to next year to pick a person you find cool and fun yo study.

  37. I was Daniel Boone for the Wax Museum. My greatest challence I face durring the Wax Museum was finding out what Daniel Boone did. Another challenge I faced was writing down the info because I had so many postits I got lost. Something I did well in the process was writing down my info and putting it on Lucid Press. Something I could have done better was my art piece, when I was painting a lot of the backround sketch was lost. If I had to restart everything something I would've done differently was organizing my info more, I lost a lot of info while doing the report. Some advice I'll give to next year 5th graders is to not get sick the day of the Wax Museum. ( I got sick )

  38. The greatest challenge I faced while being Cleopatra for Wax Museum, was trying not to move! My dress that I picked was extremly Itchy. The thing I did best in the Wax Museum was probaly keeping a strait face. My babysitter walked past me and asked me questions and I wasnt able to answer them that was a big challenge, because I didn't know if I was allowed to answer her. Next time I would probaly try to do a harder pose. My advice for the Fourth graders is, plan ahead. I thought we had more time, so I delayed my writing, so that I could study my charecter more. Most important, is to have fun and don't over think it!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  39. I liked the wax museam. The most challenging part was that i had to stay still for 45min. I recamend for the fourth graders that they pick a pose that is easy to hold. I think that i did the writing procese pretty good. If i had to do it all over againi would chose diffrent poses of that person.

  40. My greatest challenge was writing about a character at first you don't want to be. once I got a hang of my character and started to like him I did really well at writing. also I think i could have done better in the staying still department. If I did the wax museum all over again I whoudn't sit on the mini stuffed horse. ok advice I would give is be one with the character and really feel like you did those things then it will be easy'er to right about them.

  41. The greatest challenge I faced was standing still for 40 minutes. I think I did my art project well beacuse I had to start all over again. I think I could have done better becuse If I didn't rush it would would have looked better. I think that I would have made my art project different. The advice I would give to the next year 5 grader would be don't rush or else it wouldn't look better than if you didn't rush.

  42. The fifth grade wax museum is finally over! I can't believe it!
My greatest challenge at the wax museum was staying still. My family and friends would smile at me and it was hard to not smile back! Especially my sister and her friends... they made me laugh!
Something I did well during the Wax Museum is the biography on Lucid Press. I think I did pretty good on it and Lucid Press was really easy to navigate for me.
I think I could've done my poses better. When I look at the pictures, I feel like I only did two poses! They were basically all the same.
If I would do it all over again then I would sew my pointe shoes in advance!! The day before the Wax Museum at 10pm I was sewing my shoes because I HAD to have ribbons on them so I could tie them and look like a real ballerina! I stayed up really late and was tired at the wax museum, and got there late so I missed the parade.
If I would give some advice to the fourth graders about their 22nd Annual Wax Museum, I would say DON'T MOVE A MUSCLE and you only do the wax museum once so make the best of it! I also say don't be nervous. At the first session, I was so nervous and was shaking but at the second, I was totally fine! It'll be one of the best experiences you'd ever have!

  43. I was bill gates for the wax museum my greatest challenge was when people come by and look at me when Im trying to stay still. during the wax museum i just stared at a computer screen that said Microsoft in big letters. i think i could of stayed still more but i tried my best. if i could do it again i would try to stay still the whole time. Im just saying 4th graders you should get ready.

  44. My greatest challege in the Wax Musuem was when my sister took of my hat and and made jokes to me. so i just had to keep the laughtur in and hope she would give my hat back to me. I think I could of made beter poses because in my 2nd one everyone thought I was asleep. if I were to do it over again I think I would of had difrent poses because my foot fell asleep and a lot of people thought I was sleeping (WHICH I WASENT!!!). My advice for the Fourth Graders, would be to... If you see freinds or faimly, brother or sisters Just go with the flow and don't answer questionns and dont LAUGH or you have techenecly moved.

  45. I was Christopher Columbus for the wax museum. The greatest challenge I faced was making my art project. I think I did my art project well because I was sick the two days before the wax museum so I worked on it at home and I got it done. I think I could have done better with my art project because I kind of rushed it. I think I could have done a different art project because the one I chose was extremely hard to do. Some advice I would give to next years 5th graders is don't rush it. If you think that time is running out, stay calm.

  46. I loved the Wax Museum! I was Laura Ingalls Wilder. The greatest challenge I faced was all the writing we had to do. During the proces I first did the rough draft then I put it on Luicd Press. I liked putting it on Luicd Press. I did my best on the Wax Museum and I don't think it could be any better. If I had to do it all over again and it could be better I would change to be not sick this time. I didn't get to do the Wax Museum because I was sick.I would say to the new 5th graders for next year to stay calm and do your best!!!๐Ÿ˜œ

  47. My hardest challenge was standing still or sitting still for 45 minutes because you get cramps and some parts of your body fall asleep and it was prety hard to face.
When your doing reports on docs, slides, and luiside press sometimes it maybe frustraiting when you make a mistake. when your in a pasition for to long you might get dizy or faint but if some thing hurs try not fell it but also it was a great 21st anual wax muesuem. The wax muesuem was really fun and it came out good more than I expected. I dont think i could of done better but everyone did a great job!

  48. The Wax Museam had alot of ups and downs. It was a big challenge for me to take on. I really thought that standing still for 40 minutes at a time was a big challenge for me. I think that I could have improved with standing still because I didn't really stand still for a long amout of time because my body isn't used to standing still that long. I think I did very well on my painting because I used alot of different art patterns. If I had to do the Wax Museam over I would improve waiting until somebody turns the corner to move. If I could give advice to next years wax museam I would say to them ''don't move until nobody is around''.

  49. I was James Naismith for the wax museum (he inventeded basketball if you didn't know) There were many challenages. The greatest challange I faced was getting the costume and props (I didn't think standing still was a tough challange). During the process was the art project. Art is a skill that I think comes very naturally to me, so doing the art project was no sweat. I think I could of done better was writing my essey. I had alot of options of how to start it and many other things, but I do think it came out well. I wouldn't do any thing different next time. A little advice study alot about your character, gather knowlage, trust me you'll need it.

  50. My greatest challenge was wrighting the report. There were a lot of components just for the report, and it took me a very long time to do it. I think I did really well with my artwork because even though it was really hard, it turned out to look amazing๐Ÿ‘ If I had to do it all over again and I had the same character (Meriwether Lewis๐Ÿ˜ƒ) I would take less notes. Because I had 2 books, I got a lot of the same information in the 2 books and I tabbed them in both books. Next time, I'd only tabbed the new information in the second book. I would say to the forth graders that the Wax Museum is a lot more than just standing around for about 2 hours, and if you hard enough, then you'll have the best time EVER!!!๐Ÿ˜€

  51. Wax Museum was a very exciting expeirence that I will never forget. I was Mary Cassatt. Honestly, when I chose this charaecter I wasn't confident that anyone would know who she was. But after I told some people they all knew who she was, and what she was famous for. I was much more happy about my selection after hearing this. Wax Mueseum did prove to more challenging than I expected it to be. It is much more than just standing there, it comes down to researching the character, writing the report with as many details as possible and doing your absoulute best on your painting. However, the most challenging part for me was actually researching the charaecter and getting the notes down in time, in the beginning I was behind a little bit but I eventually caught up. I was sadly not able to come to the wax museum do to having the flu but overall it was something I will never forget.

  52. The Wax Museum was a great experience for me. The greatest challenge I had to overcome getting ready for it was either finishing the artwork on time or copying and pasting my report on Lucid Press. I think I did a good job writing the report, doing the artwork, getting the props and costume ready. I think I could of done my painting that was supposed to resemble Frida Kahlo's Hummingbird and Thorn Necklace painting a bit better. (That was the prop I was "painting" during the Wax Museum.) If I could do one thing differently it would be getting props that looked a little older than the props I had. For instance, the pencils I got were new pencils. The advice I would give to next year's fifth graders is to practice staying still before the wax museum, I feel if I practiced staying still a few more times than I did I could've stayed still better and longer. I hope you have a nice time at the Wax Museum.

  53. I loved the Wax Museum❤️ My greatest challenge was writing he report. it took awhile to get it just right. I think the thing I did best was the painting. My painting was quite simple, it was the Coretta Scott King Award. I think I could've done my my painting a bit better. If I could gonback and do it again I would change nothing really I think my area was quite good. My advice would be for next years 5th grade class would be get you outfit early. I got min the day before and it was a hassle.

  54. I really enjoyed the wax mueseum! My greatest challenge was writing the report on my character. I think I couldn't of done better. I would look for negitaves in my wax mueseum life than from positves because there were not that many positives in his life. My advice would to the next 5th grade would be to choose a character that you will enjoy and have in common with them. I would also tell them that there is alot of things you need in the report.

  55. the hardest thing was to make the panting. I was good at not talking. I was good at staying still. It was hard not to talk for 45 minutes and that 3 time. if I could do it again I would be a sport person. next years 5th grade you should practice your pose a lot and fet your costume a week our 2 before the wax museum

  57. The greatest challenge that I faced was actually painting the chimpanzee. It is so hard to sketch and paint a chimpanzee! What I did well was writing the report that I had to do, yet it was challenging a few times, I think I did well on it. The thing that I could better is not talking. If I could do the wax museum all over again I would change my pose. I would change my pose because I was laying on the ground with my back arched, and it really hurt! The advice that I would give to the 5th Graders next year would be to type your report early and get your costume early, so you don't wait till the last minute to get your stuff.

  58. I really enjoyed the Wax Museum❤️ My greatest challenge was writing the report. The thing I did best was probably the painting. I think could've stayed still better. If I could do it all over again I would choose a different outfit. My advice would be have your props ready before.

  59. I think the greatest challenge was basicly everything. I had to find lots of details for my wax museum character which was hard becuase the book was mostly about her sister. You had to get the writing done and put it in lucid press obn time. The artwork was hard to paint and find a picture of my wax museum characters racket. And the hardest thing to do was to hold still while I was supposed to be wax.

  60. I thought the wax museum was an interesting experience. My greatest challenge was writing the report. I was the first to finish, but then i had a lot of edits to do. I did well keeping my when people were walking by. I changed poses a few times each session because my body ached. I feel like I could of done a better report. IfI had to do it again I would pick another character so, I could learn about other another person.

  61. I think that the greatest challenge that I faced was having to sit still and not get distracted with the things going around me. I think the thing that I did well during the wax museum was that when I had to get props, I didn't have to worry because my grandfather is a computer networker in the city and I was Steve Jobs for the wax museum... so it was all good for me. In my opinion, I couldn't do anything better. I think this way because when it was time do actually do the wax museum, everything was perfect! If I had to do the whole thing over again, I wouldn't do any thing different. The advice that I would give to the next years 5th grader would be to do you best and never give up

  62. The Wax Museum was very difficult, but it all came together! The hardest challenge I faced was painting! I thought this because drawing people is harder than drawing props. But the thing I did good was picking out the props. I think the rocking chair was a nice touch.๐Ÿ˜Š I think i could have done the painting better because near the end I started rushing and it did not turn out that good.
If I could do it all over again I would come a little earlier to school! I was late and I just walked into school when they were starting the parade! My advise to next years Wax Museum characters is to come early to school so you have extra time to get ready!๐Ÿ’ฉ

  63. The greatest challenge I faced was getting it all done early. I had to get all the things done early because I went away to New Zealand for two weeks, and afterward I wouldn't have time to finish. What I think I did really well was perserverance and I didn't give up in the short time I had to finish the S.A. What I think I could have done better is That I could have made sure that the costume was good but I didn't pay much attention to it. If I could redo the wax museum I would probably get a better costume. My advice is that you should make sure all your stuff is set up as it should be.

  64. The wax museum was very challanging but also fun.The greatest challenge I face was painting King Tut's crown. It was hard not geting paint all over me because I had to paint in sertaint places.I did well with standing still in the wax museum and with my artical. If iI had to do it all over again and had to change something I would change my costume.I would tell the next years 5th grader to get there costume way befor the wax museum.

  65. I loved the wax museum, It was so fun. The biggest and greatest challenge I faced would have to be all the writing and reading. It took me a while to finish all of the research, but as soon as I got it I was pretty confident no my work. The other greatest challenge for me was staying still. I don't know but for me it was easy in the beginning but in the middle and the end. Its like I had all the energy in the beginning but in the end I was so tired I was ready to give up. But, I dint and I kept going. I could of done better with my costume i think but, Over all it was so much fun and I will come back to see the new one.

  66. The greatest challenge I faced was standing still, once when I was standing up I fell and another time I dropped my book, so that was hard for me. Also I had a hard time doing the report because there was a lot of revising and it took forever. And the last thing that I had trouble with was the artwork, I had to draw a coin and i finally got it but then I painted it with the wrong color so then I had to fix it, it was a long process but when it was finally finished I was so relieved. something I did well during the wax museum is not talking to anyone next to me. Something that I could have done better is standing still because plenty of people watched me when I was moving.๐Ÿ‘Ž

  67. I loved the wax. it was so much fun i wish i can do the wax museum again. The biggest challenge i faced was all the writing and reading. it took me a long time to do all my research. the wax museum was 2hours long and we took a brake in the midil of it. my character was ( Mia Hamm๐Ÿ˜ƒ ). i only read one book and 3 passages about her. this was so much run for me it took a long time but i made it to the end๐Ÿ˜… .

  69. The greatest challenge I faced during the wax musem was writing. The writing was so hars for me becase I was Benjamin Franklin and he has made so many inventions, I had to read 6 BOOKS because he has SO many inventions. I think that I chose good poses for it because they were all sitting and I had space to move around yet, I was looking down and after my neck was in SOOO much pain after. When I saw the other people standing the whole time I felt really really bad for them because its hard to stand for 45-minutes straght. What I could have done better as my art peice. I think I did pretty bad on it because Mrs. Mandell gave me a green coulor she made and the next time I went to to art and I told her what coulor I used, she had NO idea what I was talking about. If I had to restart I would have chose a new backdrop other than the 100 dollar bill. Some advise I'd give to next years 5th graders would be to work on your character 24/7 and try to find a pose that you can sit in, not stand.

  71. the greatest challenge was my props. I was in a hurry so i forgot my props at home so i was standing there with no props so i looked like a weirdo. but i did the lucid press was the easy. The advice I will give will be to stay focused and pay read a lot of your character books

  72. my greatest challenge was writing the report for lucidpress. the thing i liked best was painting the picture i was walt disney so i draw mickey mouse waving his hand for my picture. i wish i did more work on my stage thing because i saw others and they were good like someone made a airplane (it didn't work) and it was so cool. I only had a hat rack a desk a chair mine was boring. and i was next to one of my best friend so when one section ended i went of and we talked. kinda dark in there and there was music on it was really cool experience. I really enjoyed the 21st annual wax museum.

  73. The greatest challanges I faced was having to writing. It was hard because we had to do so many steps and had to chose sertent things. What i think that I did well during the process of the wax musem was do the art. The art was really fun. I did a portret of my person. Some parts were hard and some parts were easy. At the end i thought it looked good. What I think I could have done better was doing better poses. If I had to do the wax musem all over again and change some thing I would pick a differnet person and do something I like. If I could give any advice to next years 5th grades I would say pick a person you like and take your time.
